SENNELIER Grand Oil Pastel, 35ml, White

In collaboration with Pablo Picasso in the 1940s, a creamy, lipstick-like pastel was created. This pastel is rich in pigment, provides excellent coverage, and exhibits outstanding opacity and lightfastness. Made with high-quality pigments, an exceptionally pure synthetic binding medium, and mineral wax, this pastel is ground with an inert, non-siccative binding medium that prevents oxidation and ensures stability of the film and surface. The result of this balanced mixture is a creamy texture that allows for broad strokes and freedom of expression. This Grand sized pastel is the equivalent of 8 regular size sticks, measuring .75" by 5". It is made with a neutral pH wax base, making it suitable for application on any surface. This versatile pastel can be thinned with turpentine and applied with a brush.
